REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 4, 2010

1. Call to Order – Chair Bernie Corona called the regular meeting of the Veteran’s Affairs Commission to order at 7:20 pm on October 4, 2010 in Town Council Chambers.
A. Pledge of Allegiance
B. Roll Call - PRESENT: Bernie Corona, Paul Barry, Mary-Ann Roczynski, Linda Carrasquillo.
ABSENT: Dominic Fulco, Sr., Kirk Allison, Stan deMello, J. Roger Pelletier
2. Approval of Minutes – Motion tabled until next meeting.
3. Old Business
A. Bi-Centennial Square Update – Open discussion about possibly changing name to “Veterans Bicentennial Square. If name changed, could be possible to receive grants to fix up and do
maintenance. Bernie and commission will contact Town Council and State Reps office to start process rolling. No update from Stan deMello due to absence. Matter tabled for follow up.
B. B. Veteran’s Day Parade on May 31st November 7th. Step off at 10am 1pm. All are invited to attend the parade.
